Can a lawn care company make me pay for a service I never asked for?

They just came and sprayed my lawn. They claim they phoned before and got an “OK”, and they claim they sent a confirmation letter first. I don’t have any records of either of these things.

    If they don’t have approval from you, in writing or verbal, they cannot charge you for it.

    ask them for a copy of signed contract if they dont have one tell them to go fly a kite they dont have a legal leg to stand on

    Im pretty sure that you have to “sign up” for service with a company. so unless they have your signature they are sol
    I bet they went to the wrong house

    seems like a scam. Even if they did send a letter you probably thought that it was junk mail and tossed it. I would not pay.
