    Eric—1/2 acre per hour
    Randy–1/3acre per hour
    Together– 5/6 acre in hour
    so 5/6—–60 mins
    1———X
    X=72 min ———1 hour 12mins

    Not 100% sure. But to me it appears that together they can mow 2 acres in five hours so half of that would equal 1 acre in 2 and one half hours.

    Too long for Eric’s interest. Eric should go his seperate ways and he can then take care of 50% more lawns in the same amount of time.
