I'm in the lawn care bizz and get $30 to mow and weed eat/edge.That's front and back yard,if I have to bag/dispose that's extra.As for any gardening work I charge an hourly rate. Keep in mind I am supporting a family and count every penny.Your trying to start-up may mean working a little less,but don't give your work away. I will say this,you have to go the distance.By this I mean doing your work 100% with no shortcuts.I get about $7 more per yard than the compitition by going the extra mile.Learn as much as you can about horticulture (it will help).
