depends on where you are, and what you get yourself into. If all you do is mow grass there will be less work than if you do gardens and plant shrubs and stuff. Usually in my area, maine, its when the snow melts and is gone for good, april or may to start, then its busy may-june, july and august it gets hot and the grass grows slower. You are pretty much mowing leaves in sept-oct. Then you ski the rest of the year. there are a lot out there, so you could probably get a job with one easily, due to turnover, and eventually you could probably get your own customers by seeing who needs help.

In California the Lawn care business is not seasonal. The more services you offer, and the better you do it the more work you will find for yourself. If you just mow lawns there will be dozens of people waiting in line to offer a lower price. If you also trim plants you will have less competition and can charge more. If you trim plants well, so they don’t look butchered, you’re worth your weight in gold. If you will actually pull weeds and make a home’s landscaping look like it is well cared for you will end up with virtually no competition and you will be able to charge enough money to make a nice living. The farther along this continuum that you travel, the more you can charge but the fewer people there will be who are willing or able to hire you. Find your niche, find the price that will keep you working as many hours as you want, and have fun.

there are allot of different companies out there but most do shi&&y work. It isn’t hard to get into, you can start out with just a push mower if you have the drive to do so.Yes I do very well between the months of April threw November usually. The time you are able to get out and work will depend on which part of the country you live in. So go for it and good luck always look forward to a little competition!

Yes lawn care is usually during the three seasons Spring-Summer- Fall. Most lawncare companies remove snow in the winter
