You are right, don’t put the fliers on mailboxes. However, you can put them on front doors. Maybe you could make a sign for your yard and advertise. Or this website has SUPER cheap yard signs.

If you’re not good with people, maybe you should rethink starting your own business. People skills will make or break your business and if you have none, your customers will probably find someone else to do the work.
