Roundup is very effective and is pet safe as soon as it dries. It comes as a spray you can adjust to pinpoint any weed as it will also kill the grass. It dries very quickly on a nice day. I have used it where kittens are present and they have never had any problems, nor have my dogs as long as I follow the rules on the label.

a bit easier than sheep is a goat.. (I'm serious).. and they will even start playing with dogs.. If you live in an area that they are allowed it's great.. (they even eat the Prickers.. ) Otherwise i'm really not sure.
