I mow my lawn once every week, and the sprinkler goes on every night. Sometimes I have to pull out the weeds from to grass, mostly Bermuda grass, which grows really fast and makes the lawn look bad. I cut the lawn short, and it makes it look clean and smooth. And not to mention trimming the edges and then sweeping once you are done.
Mowing and edging every 10 days or so, Watering every three days. I don’t use sprinkler systems or timers, just a 5 dollar parabolic sprinkler and an egg time.
Adjust based on rainfall and such. Lawn looks fine.
I mow and trim when needed. I water every other day the front yard but the backyard doesnt have a problem it grows well.
Weekly: Mow & weedeat, water with sprinklers (we’ve had enough rain this year that I’ve not had to water at all!)
Monthly: Trim shrubs
Yearly: Cut shrubs and trees back away from the house/eaves and clean flower beds
We rarely fertilize or use any kind of supplement. In our area I’ve found that it’s usually a waste of time and money. Our yard looks good with a minimum amount of care. We’ve been living under drought conditions for several years and the weeds do flourish, but spending a little time pulling them seems to do as well as using chemicals to kill them. Even though we’ve had plenty of rain this year we are still under one day a week watering restrictions, so the foundation on the house is usually what gets watered that day, if needed.
Well I mow my lawn cause its not that big of a yard. I would use sprinklers if your lawn is pretty big. And also I would mow once a week or depending on how fast your grass grows. I dont water my lawn cause I get enough rain for it. but for plants and shrubs in your yard you do this:
Weekly: Mow & weedeat, water with sprinklers if you dont get enough water on them
Monthly: Trim shrubs
Yearly: Cut shrubs and trees back away from the house/eaves and clean flower beds
Also on the flowers, shrubs, or bushes to make them grow healthy I would use fertilizer depending on how well the soil is if the soil is really easy to plant things in then you dont need to se fertilizer but on your flowers in pots I would use fertilizer to give them a great healthy look. BE sure to water your plants daily if you dont get enough rain or you dont use sprinklers.
