I worked for one and have had dealings with the other. I say Neither. Both companies main objective is to squeeze more money instead of results.

Try a local owner operated Medium size company. Youll be better off without harassing sales calls.

I have dealt with both companies. I am still disputing charges from Scott's. It is much cheaper to do it yourself. Believe me, I've done it. Just set up a program and follow it. I've been doing it for two years with no problems. The cost from the companies is very high. Partly due to the fuel costs. You can buy a bag of Fertilizer for $30 and depending on the size of your lawn, you can use it for two applications. Saves "allot" of money!!!!! Home Depot..Lowes any of the home care stores carry fertilizers.

I dropped TruGreen because I did not see an improvement. The last time TrueGreen came to spray my lawn, I watched as the TrueGreen employee walked over large areas of my lawn without spraying.

If I don't see green, they don't see green.

I agree with deakjone.

Both services are rather expensive... I like to get out in the yard myself... first take a run to Walmart or even Home Depot... pickup some lawn care products... follow the directions when you get home... You'll see results within days...
